Sheetrock walls, woodwork, fixtures and hardware easier to replace, standard electrical outlet boxes, wall closets with sliding doors, functional floor plans with larger rooms, poured foundations, windows are more standardized but can still be odd sizes, dimensional lumber but better quality than we usually get today.

She said she had a lawyer and that she was fighting the HOA for singling her out, especially after all this time; which made me think, have you received any updates (in writing) from your HOA she said she didn't know.What I suspect is that the HOA has made subtle change to the charter/agreement which has subsequently allowed this seller to be exposed.

So, if you're anticipating selling the house in 10 years, and want to know what your IRR is, you have to figure the cost of selling and bringing the building up to the buyers standards... 10% should be a good number unless you've let maintenance slide.
