I've attended a meeting of the "RE Mastermind" club on Meetup.com, and found it was essentially a recruiting tool for an overpriced RE course that the members try to refer you to, so they can earn a referral bonus to pay off their debt from their bad deals that they undertook as a result of the training they overpaid for.

At any rate, and for those who do not already know, we at Nationwide Property Investments created an 8 week REO training program which is unlike any other and to date, has a student success rate of making money on deals of 50%, where the average program may get a 5% success rate (by the way, our student success rate has profits all over $20k each!)

If the tenant approached me and asked for permission I would be more likely to let them as long as they met my requirements mainly higher renters insurance coverage on their end, additional security deposit  to cover possible damage from the pet and the condition the pet is to go through a training class as soon as they qualify.

I am sure this is getting plenty of real estate investors dealing with short sales pretty nervous, including me since I am just getting started and spent in the 1000's for training..hummmCan we benefit from this foreclosure moratorium in any kind of way within the short sales, reos, bulk reos, foreclosure auctions, there could be an opportunity for those of us that look for one when everyone else is not looking...:)
