Of course depending on your experience, qualifications, and the deal itself.But if there is a house on the market for $99k in a neighborhood full of $200k-$400k homes, there has to be something horribly wrong with that home.Is it backing up to a train track or an old steel mill?

We not only lost our hard-earned money but on top of everything, our health suffered, I had several sleepless nights due to the stress and anxiety that this horrible experience created for my wife and me.After the buy-back was completed, I approached Maverick to at least help us with our losses by requesting us to give back ~$6000.

It should not matter to you if it is early or on the day due.The "gifts" is a horrible idea on many different levels.Do this: when they text you with an issue, reply immediately, address any repair/upkeep issues immediately and keep them posted through out...If you do this you will be within 1% of landlords (we here) and if you are already doing this then perhaps they are showing their appreciation with early rent payments.

You can find properties whose monthly rent exceeds 2% of the purchase price, which would be absolutely horrible acquisitions.

I notice that much of the properties here in Greatet Boston have a horrible ROI however I'm finding many B and C class properties in the North Shore---like Salem, Lowell, and Everett---that have a decent ROI.I would like to know what cities are ideal to invest in for newbies like me?
