I'm close to closing on a new construction home in Sacramento but just found out that because my most recent job is 1099, my lender has instructed me that I will need a portfolio lender as I'm considered 'self-employed' now.

I'm waiting for that right deal, or at least until some of this frothiness comes out of the market.With Quantitative Tightening in effect, I'm hoping the hot money starts drying up.

There's a lot of information there, but if you read closely I believe it shows that those 3 years (2018-2020) will have varying tax rates as certain referendum issues take effect and also as an old tax drops off.

We've had a property manager there, still self-manage the one we still have locally, but will eventually manage all ourselves once we have more free time.
