I am looking to do my first deal within the next 3-6 months and currently live in Washington DC.

In Metro DC, VA is the best, DC is the worst, MD is in the middle still not as landlord friendly as VA.

My social circle is filled with very successful people...a congressional chief of staff, a dod policy advisor, a partner at a major DC lawfirm, the head of social media for Fannie Mae. 

I live in Northern Virginia where the home prices are very high, but I have been seeing that in Arlington there is one building, 2 stops from the metro, with amazing views of the National Monument and into DC, that is just ridiculously cheap.

I'm about to list a single family home  for sale in Granitfalls Wa and I'm not 100% certain if this is the right move.

I think properly in WA post-SB5600 is 60 days.Seattle is It's own animal. 

I paid off my mortgage w a HELOC loan and would never do a mortgage again.

Seeing that the city is short of housing and that the city council had already embraced the wisdom of making 100 W a multi-family zone.

I've looked in many areas Spokane WA, pretty much all of Ohio and Illinois and Florida.
