A lot of the residential style housing adjacent downtown is otherwise pretty rough (validated by a local police heat map :).  

If your lease had this limitation in it, then you would simply police the number of people living in the house.

So far, he’s gotten 2 prank calls, the police called him from one small city, code compliance caught him placing a sign and he has only gotten 1 lead so far.

I think, like with police, stating some group are ALL some pejorative is ill-informed, at best.If you do NOT know what you're doing, then a PM can save you a lot of time and pain. 

I definitely would not unless they filed a proper police report and there is record of the break-in.

Had to file a police report and wait like 6 weeks for the transaction to be reversed. 

I currently work full-time Military Law Enforcement, transitioning to the local Cumberland County police force and my wife is an Air Traffic Controller at Fayetteville International.

Yes i have had to explain to them (simplysafe) and the police who i am on occasion when i forget to turn it off. lol.
