I agree, there are many people on this site who dont have a profile picture and dont have a completed profile and that is their choice.

David,I think your choice of R, NC is a good one, it is a very strong market and I personally believe that in the next 10 years, you will see some positive appreciation.That said, I think you need to really understand and examine cash flow, operating expenses, and all other expenses associated with being a landlord.

Yes, it's good to get with an attorney for entity choice, and segregation of liability, but proper insurance will be the primary backstop.
