I am brand new to the Real Estate World!

. :) I am new to the real estate investing world but have learned a lot in a short period of time.

Now it's kind of "my first place" apartments with students just out of dorms or young people with first jobs except for one unit with an old single lady.I have two applications for the vacant unitA grandma and her husband of many years that works at the grocery store next door for 15 years and also with hers and partner's social security make about 3x rent.

I trust the Jamie Dimons and Warren Buffets of the world with regards to this stuff. 

It is a 7 yr old Lennox system and the new option for a grand more would be a GMC unit. 

I won't hate on that because my tenants have plastic/old chairs as well.

Also will add Portage Park, Old Irving Park, Irving Park, West Bucktown, Near West, Rogers Park, Pilsen, Bridgeport.

I want someone who knows the market, and is willing to give their inputOur old realtor would walk a house and say yes or no, IE should would talk us out of properties she didn't like either the neighborhood or the value/remodel cost.she had the eye of an investor, managed her own properties. 

These are usually 20 and 30 something year old's and I highly doubt they own the homes free and clear that they are offering as owner-finance.
