Through experience, education and even hiring a mentor I have been nailing down the best asset to class to invest in. 

I would sit down with your tax pro and nail down the numbers and big picture and see exactly which makes more sense. 

The biggest plus in port richmond is that if you have to go there you can get polish sausages and perogies and they are very good.   

Subprime is just the old subprime market, just polished on the edges compared with the pre-recession crazy era.

And so I buy drawer/cabinets from Habitat for Humanity Restore/Construction Junction/etc; sometimes I need to nail a laminate countertop to it if it lacks the top but they often have the countertop still on there - buying them used is naturally way cheaper. 

I will be starting plumbing and electrical work the week of June 25-29, so I need to nail down my guys this week. 

The neighborhood was a C when I bought, lots of elderly Polish ladies. 

Long story short, copper piping replaced with 40 feet of pex piping, two feet of drywall/insulation removed from 3 out of 4 walls in two bedrooms (where we discovered more nails that were put into section of piping from when previous owners installed trim during a reno), and things have been progressing.

Even though the process is still up in the air, they may be able to give you some guidance on how to proceed if you take action before the rules are nailed down and communicated.
