What I more meant was, compared to the abject misery of living in Southeast LA without a/c, I would literally only eat one 25 cent ramen meal a day if it meant I could afford a/c.It's really that bad. 

Maybe it's chain link (city; Pools), maybe it's barbed wire (rural & ranches).  

Kids would stash their free lunch meals into their backpacks so they could feed their parents.In contrast, my wife later taught public elementary school in a wealthy area in Seattle.

As far as a national chain bank or private?

Seems like they are daisy chain wholesalers that built a website to market people's properties (without approval) I might add, for much higher prices.

Its a nice little food chain.

If you can't afford to live in a particular city anymore, you complain, you get more jobs - or you move somewhere you can afford.And if you have to spend half of your income on housing - and/or choose to do so in an expensive area, you just cut back on other things.It's not the end of the world to "have to" watch movies on Amazon Prime or Netflix instead of going out, or cooking your own meals at home.I live on practically nothing and I do just fine. 

NONE of them are proposing doing away with their free meal tickets at taxpayer expense.
