I never enter any job site or work location without wearing safety boots, safety glasses etc.

Even when I was a resident manager, if I socialized in any way with a tenant - become a walking buddy, go have a glass of wine, etc., they always, without fail, wanted some special favor and I'd have to say no.  

If your landlord was halfway decent (and if you got your security deposit back - that says a lot) for goodness sakes, let it go.  

So that’s how I decided that it would be best to meet halfway for now.

At no time did she have less than 10 jars (glass) of mayonnaise, mustard caned tuna and so on.  

I'll blame it on the glass of cheap wine :-)

The avocado phase reminds me of the all glass tile. 

Wrong.Turned out, they had live rock bands - and I mean loud enough to shake the water in a glass on my kitchen table kind of loud, and they played until late - then the staff and friends closed the place up, cranked up their recorded music and would party until the wee hours. 

I’ve also recently discovered that her previous “landlord” reference was actually her friend in disguise.As if that weren’t enough, she moved out abruptly and broke the lease about halfway through.
