Commercial vs personal qualification is an entirely different kettle of fish.

This market is nuts, we experienced it when buying our house and helping some family move here as well.

Generally, I like the idea of getting an asset now and paying into it vs rent, but I also know this market is nuts + LA is a tough market.

I believe you even have to register with the ALA if you plan on fishing off a dock or beach. 

It's a great spot for fishing, cabin-ing, and enjoying Western NC.
