guilty as charged.i just bought an auction home on one of the website ones sight unseen.The home was supposed to be occupied so I was not going to make the 800 mile trip anyway . my decision was based on the comps, interview's with 3 area agents and great information from the listing agent.it turns out the owners moved out,the listing agent sold the property to the former owners,a new roof and other repairs left the property in good condition.The agent even sent more pictures .The $50k in equity leaves me with plenty of cushion for some minor p&c repairs
