@Terra SpinoThats actually good news they have ceiling tiles if they actually end up having to put the drywall up to separate the units, it will be much easier to deal with the electrical fixtures in case the drywall is required.

You can see how much a 1-car garage vs a 2-car garage affects appraisal, granite counters vs no granite counters, etc.For example, in my market, granite countertops are a $5,000 bump in the appraised value.The inspection is more geared towards finding what's wrong with the property (what's not up to code, safety issues) and making everything is in good condition and working as it should (electrical is wired correctly, plumbing drains well, no mold or termite damage, structurally sound roof, etc.)

I'll try to post updates bi weekly; In the past week, the following has been done: --New roof installed just before closing--Light demo completed to reveal hardwood flooring throughout the home, gut kitchen, remove bathroom fixtures, remove trash throughout home and backyard.In the next two weeks we have new framing in kitchen to be done, start some electrical updates, get the half bath and basement back together (those are the easiest) then do drywall patch and painting and refinish floors.

It should be said that this is for well that has problems, most are normal and all you pay for is electric for pumps and maybe quarterly testing.

As well as RV hook ups and storage tank for off grid. doesn't have solar panels but is wired for plug in electrical.
