The owners lived in England and this was a broker here in th US we were dealing withThe broker changed the terms of the contract 3 times.  1st was for 129000 with furniture Then he said he had a investor who would buy it and help us out by selling it to us.

I love it, and I'm a big fan of making the accounting system the center of the business.  

If the ductwork is done wrong, however, there may be little which can be done short of adding booster fans in the ducts.For now (summer), close down the registers on the first floor and force the cold air up to the higher levels.

If you go that route, you'll have much better cash flow but not as much of an increase in your net worth b/c of lower appreciation.I'm a big fan of parts of Lynnwood.
