I started my real estate career in much the same way- started as an investor and wanted to learn more about the industry- After 15 years with a traditional bricks and mortar brokerage that took a high split in order to pay for all the real estate offices where they conducted live training, sales meetings, etc, I moved to a virtual brokerage 5 years ago and not only have 24/7 access to more training & meetings that I can absorb, but am also making much more in commissions and other alternate compensation while being able to scale my business across all 50 states and overseas- A great option for professionals who want to run their own business without a lot of hand-holding & broker expectations for sitting desk duty, mandatory fees, etc.

It is not the Originators duty to require anything, however there is no requirement for the Originator to put their seal and license number to the transaction either!
