In my county, Fannie Mae owns 359 properties, but only has 143 listed for sale (or under contract) on their web site.For HUD, it's 147 and 36, respectively.I haven't taken a look at this before, there would obviously be a normal pipeline of homes in pre-listing status, but it seems like there is a lot of inventory needing to be moved to market.
