I just thought of one more item that is important to mention is that if the person abandons the house and has belongs (stuff) in the house you need to find out what the law is in your area of how long you must keep those items in storage before you can discard.

Be sure that you're including depreciation on all of your appliances, any sheds/storage areas, and of course the actual house structure.
