This is extremely common in areas of C D quality properties.. not necessarily the tenant that did it could be just your typical theft when a home goes vacant. this is why its critical to have a vacant home policy in force on your rentals..

Forecasts/predictions aren't worth the paper they're written on, which is why I generally don't read them.

So now I have a boot of 355k because I didn’t find anything else worth buying.

Typically, you can purchase an umbrella policy for as little as $300-600 annually that offers a million dollars of liability coverage.

@Jon YoungHouse hacking can be hard in the higher priced market such as Dallas Fort Worth area but there are other ways of buying property.
