My role would be to help the company expand its development model (small boutique multifamily) into other markets. 

Indianapolis is a great spot to be investing right now - we primarily work with out-of-state lenders and assist with connecting folks to the right lenders for their ROI model.

The other strategy is to find partners to invest with you via a joint venture or syndication model.

A great agent should be able to understand your goals, your business model, and even add value or other angles to that model.

I wont forget how amazed one of the agents who was showing me around Atlanta was when I introduced him to Waze a few years ago, which forecast  a stopped car around the bend - and sure enough there it was :)I land up needing to call my US bank on a landline more often than I ever need to call my Iocal bank - (in fact come to think of it I never call my local bank) The solution is to find a cell package that includes foreign calls in the base price- and then you don't think twice when you need to call or for how long.

I am very interested in learning more about this market and its current status as well as forecasted movement over the next few years.

You are basically adding an additional layer of complexity to your existing business model. 

In an ideal situation, assuming the usual syndication model, one would, theoretically, have to have the same LPs invest in the newer deal with the same sponsor i.e. practically impossible.
