Find an agent that will provide thorough video tours for you and get an excellent property inspector.

With the current hot market, i would select a few properties and 1031 to bigger, less management intensive ones, like multifamily or net lease.

After selecting from those preliminary offers, the process of making formal loan application will begin.

As someone who raises capital for a select few syndications, I often get questions around rising interest rates, inflation, will the market crash, etc?

My main points were that successful investors who hit their targets are going to excel in the basics.  

I would suggest a company without long term contracts, variable pricing based on volume and excellent customer service to help walk you through the process if you have any questions along the way. ;)
