There is good potential there, but in addition to the age restrictions I wonder what restrictions might exist in regards to exterior modifications (color, siding material, windows, landscaping, etc.)One co-op I was reading about today had their agreements accessible, and it read like 1 of the applicants need to be 55+ and then other applicants just need to be older than 19.

Working from home will make for a more egalitarian employment landscape as accessibility to positions becomes more widely available--specifically those who were previously unable to make get to their physical place of work, whether due to disability, lack of transport, or any number of reasons will now be able to work remotely (I especially think there will be a revolution for those seeking ADA assistance as the general excuse given by employers/HR departments is "this is not a job that can be performed remotely"--good luck getting that excuse to fly post Covid).

The up and coming neighborhoods have the packed local coffee shop, a brewery recently opened, maybe the cool vintage clothes store, a cupcakery, etc, but rents are still cheap and typically therefore the properties are still fairly cheap.Whole Foods, at least pre Amazon when I worked in retail, and Starbucks look for high incomes, high college education, large percentage married type demographics and those are not the typical "up and coming" neighborhood.
