The issue with Cozy (which wasn't the case when we first signed up) is that they no longer give you a way to not accept 'partial' payments which can cause heartache when it comes to evictions.

@Ross Denman  There were a few other factors that have caused the long spell.  

So many avoidable house fires are caused by this. 

If they have money to buy a new fridge when they have a perfectly working one, they have the money to pay for the damages they caused that needed repairs.

Put up a little sign by the thermostat that explains that running the air conditioner at a low temperature in a humid environment will cause any central air unit to freeze. 

It was just less headache and ensured that no damage was done to the unit in moving it. 

I am less than two weeks out from closing -- maybe that's why they aren't letting me lower it cause they know they got the upperhand?

I mean through tenant turn over and damage to property. 

No telling at what point it could cause additional damage.
