(Selling the home he paid $1M for and sold to you for $100k.) and then if you sell the home for exactly what you really paid ($1M) then you’ll owe the IrS $250k in taxes because you told them you only paid $100k and now sold for $1M. .

There has been a flight to the more quality areas of Austin.I agree on us having hit the bottom, time will tell but I think we'll see demand increase and rates decrease over the next few months Yeah - I was more talking about outlook for 2025+, I think the correction has likely completed (just opinion)

I would greatly appreciate your input on this matter.Here is my setupPurchased property under a TrustLLC in FL owns the TrustHolding company LLC in WY owns LLC in FLI purchased the property sub-to, took over the seller's mortgage and I’m working on setting up insurance for the property.I understand I need to keep the seller as additionally insured in my insurance, but the seller no longer has "interest" (ownership) either in the Trust, nor any of the LLCs nor in the Deed nor Settlement Statement.
