If that is the case, then an FHA 203K or Fannie Mae Homestyle Renovation loan will not work for you as you must have a licensed, bonded, approved contractor do the work and your not supposed to be allowed to cut a deal with the for you to do the work.

He checked out the place and everything was secure except the broken window.So while the bad guys did not trigger the alarm (unless they had been there just moments before I arrived), the system did pick up on my arm motion, and did exactly what it was supposed to do.I would thus far recommend the system.

After wrapping up what was initially supposed to be a 50/50 split of the profits, he also wanted to get compensation for his hourly rate plus a markup on whatever the subcontractors did - none of which was ever discussed until it was time to pay ourselves.VERY uncomfortable.

I suspect with your budget that it may be very difficult (though maybe not impossible) to find a building in Astoria or Long Island City.I'm not as well versed in Brooklyn but to Marcy's point, the L train is supposed to be shutting down in Manhattan for repairs for 18 months starting in (I believe) 2019.
