I guess I'm just worried that with my travel schedule (I'm on the road a lot for work) that I wouldn't have the time and ability to be there in-person.

This sucks and is unfair but that is how it is.It's a tough road to get paid if you only showed the house.

I obviously have no issue and actually want to start renting out a bunch of homes later on down the road, but money in key in the beginning.  

Anthony Gayden we are hitting some road blocks with estimating rehab costs and we aren't quite confident enough to begin ourselves.

It’s been a long road but well worth it.In the past 6 years, we have self-funded and “traded up” from a 4-plex purchased for less than $100K to now owning a mid-sized hotel.

They last forever and help me avoid some headaches down the road.

Hopefully you get a location that is improving and that will be your back stop of  future profits down the road vs just the possible cash flow alone.
