Even something as simple as getting your lot dimensions at the front when he's claiming it is off by feet should give you an idea.

Lots of paperwork, and time with you local gov to get something like that done I would imagine.

Investors with experiences and losses recommend living within 3 or 4 hours of the rental, so it's easy to drive back if something goes haywire.My friends live 2 hours from theirs and it's a hassle.
