I actually have been recently thinking about a similar concept of investing in SFH here in the springs with the intention of renting by the room, as I like the downside protection it brings in these uncertain times (since there seems to always be a demand for a $600 room here in Colorado) as well as the huge cashflow potential they have as well.

It's been a PITA for sure, but a proof of concept to me that you can find and build value if you look for creative solutions, research, and learn from others.

I am just getting started with RE investment, have a general concept of it after going through lots of reading.

I thought it was an interesting concept and was curious to see if anyone has had any experience with it?

Some of these books are not specifically real estate investing but when you read them you will get plenty of useful concepts on business, sales, mindset, money and real estate.

Hah- I like the "deep creep" concept.

I just can't sit by and listen to someone say he doesn't know what he is talking about when the same concepts you are discrediting literally made me a multi-millionaire.

The entire concept of OOS investing is to make money for the "team" not so much the asset owner. 

I'm still not understand the whole find a buyer concept either.
