and what about if the 2 people applying for a 1 bedroom but have 2 or 3 kids, can they be legally eliminated from lease approval because of the total # individuals for a 1 bedroom? 

Kids go to college, people get sick, income fluctuates, you get laid off etc etc.

The power I have is no kids or a wife, so I can go where the money is.

In today's times, I am finding that the parents are passing on (transitioning) thereby leaving the property to the kids who live in another county or State.  

She has no mortgage, works as a reception at a hotel, and has 4 kids.

Why is every job worth $15/hr, should the movie ticket kid or beach guard really get that much?

(Btw, fwiw, I do have an architecture background from years ago (back before kids) and have already managed about 5 various home improvement projects on my own home here over the years!)

They informed us that they use that area as an extension of their house and the kids play out there.

That doesn't factor in things like kids in the future, job moves, or 100 other things that can throw monkey wrenches into the best conceived "forever plans".

I was working on my next home and with a kid and wife on opposite schedules at work my mind was everywhere else.
