Yes there are small businesses moving here and yes there is growth in the tourism industry (we hope....post-COVID), and yet the new administration wants to eliminated/severely the oil and gas industry, which tend to have higher paying jobs.

Real Estate school teaches you the basics, but you want boot camp style training to really get you up to speed to sell....dealing with buyers, sellers, lead generation, marketing, building your database, what conversations to have with your database, etc.I think it is pretty tough to have full time job and be a casual real estate agent, at least in the beginning...that doesn't mean you can't be part time, but you really need to think and implement a strategy to be successful and competent as a part time agent.For some brokers you will need to sell that commitment to them.

I disagree with people saying why would you sell your house to a wholesaler when you can do it yourself well the fact it, that home owner doesn’t have the database like a wholesaler does to get them out of their property or if your roof or kitchen is blown out it’s pretty hard to get an agent to sell your house.
