I am not sure the Tenant is so friendly, my property manager deals with them.If you have a PM, they should answer this question for you and handle the process.You should notify the PM and update your PM Agreement, W-9, banking information, etc.

This is a recent decision where a title insurer denied coverage to an insured owner who had been named in a suit to rescind the deed into the insured. 

Check with these guys, I live on Catalina Island which is High Fire Zone and they were able to help me.

My buy box is a home 5 years or newer, A or B-rated schools in the 200K-400K range that will appreciate over time with someone paying down my debt.

Maybe one day I can sell this system, but right now is for my use and under testing.

This situation can compound to you doing more jobs and getting more capital for the next deal, but then losing sight of really why you got the license which is saving money on flips and doing more of them because the margins are so great for you being licensed.

Does renters insurance cover something like this?
