The economy from an employment perspective is still so strong people still aren't even wanting to work because labor participation is still below pre-pandemic levels.

@Joe PolyakEven if someone give you a referral, what meets their expectations, may not meet yours.In our experience, the #1 mistake owners make when selecting a Property Management Company (PMC) is ASSUMING instead of CONFIRMING.It's often a case of not doing enough research, as they don't know what they don't know!

Me as a handyman wouldn't bother with a job that realistically will take 3-4 hours of my time (gathering materials, travel, time in labor) for $50, me as a landlord thinks that $50 for a drywall patch is a rip-off.  

Or your brain says, why work hard in life if you can't enjoy the fruits of your labor.
