This is worrisome and raises a red flag - if he can't pay his phone bill, we feel there is a higher chance of him not paying his rent (or renter's insurance for that matter).

Really we should be talking about "construction quality" in general rather than caring about whether the house is built in a factory by robots in Mexico, on site by highly paid American tradesmen.

In this instance though wouldn't it flag an issue since it either needs to be a gift or seasoned funds?

It should be a HUGE red flag.

This wouldnt bother me, but it's the way they're labeled that raises red flags and is causing confusion.

But they can notice signs of cutting corners and red flags that newbies might miss.

Additionally, I've been told simple picket signs/flags lining the property highlighting new ownership and renovations can drum up conversation.
