I did expect it to be RS-4 because while only my parents occupy the building and only use the first level, there is a separate door for the ground/basement level and i do think historically (ie: many decades ago, it’s an early 1900s build) the house was used as a multi unit or was intended to be..however when I check the cook county property tax website, they do have the house listed as 2-11 for the property classification code which is a “multi family with 2-6 units” (instead of some the other 2- classifications that would be for a sfh).

They also want thousands up front in fees for the "credit facility" which is worthless because each deal you bring to them has to be evaluated separately.

We put in everything we would want in a nicer middle to high end rental: toaster oven, mixers, wine stoppers/ tuper ware, full spice cabinet, tons of cook ware, roasting pans, dishes to handle 1.5x occupancy, lots of coffee mugs, glass ware, two coffee makers, steak knives, salad bowls, kids plates/bowls.

@Ken Jernigan I shouldn’t say it was that much of a pain, they knew what they were doing, just a pain like any loan plus 10% pain.So to refinance an existing storage facility you need to have at least 2 years of payments with existing loan.
