I believe these processes also depend on the location and whether the state and place is in judicial or non-judicial territory. 

Evictions (for cause or for no cause) are are swift in my location.

However, I believe in most states if you can locate his bank account that there's an avenue.

I actually don’t live in Colorado Springs, so location is somewhat loose.

Look on Craigslist, Zillow, and Facebook and start to get an understanding for what a 2 BR-1 BA will rent for in this location and that condition, vs. a 1 BR-1BA in that location and this condition.
