It has been my experience that the water-walls (shared wall where the water goes from the basement to each of the kitchens and bathrooms on each of the floors) are usually interior walls.

I did small esthetic interior repairs and just kept in great condition.

forget it they hate investors and require interior "$$$safety inspections" every-time you change names on the water bill.

I'm using Sherwin Williams Super paint for the interior.
