I had purchased this house for cash from a wholesaler in Houston,TXTitle company needs her to sign the deed over before they can fund my loan.This is where it gets crazy, I was just informed that the lady the sold the house to the wholesaler  was not on the deed and had no authority to do so.I belief that the homeowner had passed on and that was how family members sold the house.

People buy and sell all over the US (or world really) as in each corner of the US is a spot that works for someone.I was just asking as most properties in Houston I've looked at or know who bought it when or what they paid, who they sold it to, etc. 

We live in the Houston area do I think it'd be more work like that.

I worked for someone that owned properties in Houston and would feel comfortable being a landlord in TX, but CA has laws that make it more difficult to evict someone.

I live in Houston and would like to keep everything in Houston.
