If you plan on managing it yourself, you want to be close to monitor any improvements and get familiar and comfortable with the entire process.

I don't know if I'll continue with Zillow's process in the future.

I also have a list of lenders that I have worked with in the past that I recommend.In both cases, when I was approached by them to purchase a home, they had very little knowledge of the home buying process, they were definitely not ready.

Be sure to be familiar with SEC requirements and your state stautes concerning lending and the foreclosure process, good to know stuff.

I also don't know how much of a hassle or cost commitment that process would be either so any input at all would be valuable to me.

These regulations can specify the type of structures that can be built, the size and location of buildings, and the activities that are permitted on the property.

Live it in for a year and repeat the process, buy another duplex, hopefully with the same program if it still exists a year down the line.

There is a process to picking the market to work in and buying for both cash flow and appreciation (many people think the midwest or south is only for cash flow - not true).
