Who else is taking advantage of this great rental market in Saskatchewan? 

I do think I was taken advantage of to an extent, but the amount of stress/anxiety I was feeling from the situation made me take the quickest and easiest action to get the situation behind me and for that I am happy I did it. 

However that is simply one material that has many advantages over engineered materials such as common fiberglass batt insulation.

The advantage is that it has less to do with your income and credit score, although you still need a solid credit score either way, but commercial loans focus on the property's potential rental income.

There might be advantages of one over the other.

And then, you'd have to deal with the locals as a gringo so you are at a disadvantage compared to the locals and you could be taken advantage of.
