On the other hand, you and I both know that this will lead to a TON of calls/complaints/negative posts on social media about a disagreement of whether a previous building professional should fix something for the new owner once out of warranty, not the contractor’s fault to begin with, etc.

I see this post was 4 years ago so I'd love to hear about what you are doing now and what that looks like.

I had a post once here on BP to ask people about their LLC and asset protection stories, or something that "happened to a friend" - it had a huge amount of replies, but no good stories.

In your post you even alluded to the lack of time you have, and suspect as a physician you won't be changing careers and availability will continue to be an isuse.
