Hi everyone, I currently own a home in Washington, DC, and I think I have about $100,000 or maybe $80,000 in equity I want to leverage to buy a second home, which I would operate like a rental though would want to keep a room or basement space for myself as well.

I have had this home 15 years and have roughly $110-120k in equity.

I have a rental property that I can't sell till till next spring and it has about $70,000 in equity.

Own 2 properties free and clear maybe 600k in equity no outstanding loans excellent credit rating Looking for advice on what would be my best loan type for short term loan of  between  50 to 100k ?

Mortgage has only built in a puny $12000 in equity...I gut renovated both units when I bought it and want to recoup some of the money I put into it...I really don’t know what to do...

At a 10 CAP just for simplicity (once stabilized @ 90% occupancy), ARV is $470K; over 100K (25%) built in equity.

I have a $50,000 Heloc on my house but it is valued at $300,000 with $133,000 in equity.

I currently have about 50k in equity in the home, and would more than likely use that for a HELOC to buy my investment property.

Upon vacancy the rent control statute no longer applies and will eventually phase out.It was a windfall in equity from my point of view.

I have a few rentals houses that have 200-250K in equity in each.
