But the new tenants were willing to wait & the transition was great.In the days of our 'rent to owns' we would do the same & schedule an open house as soon as we got notice of them vacating & we never had any problems.However, last year we did have one very difficult, miserable, stubborn, mean, impossible woman who would not comply.

The case that was quoted above wasn't a situation of normal rent increasing it was a case where I bought a property and the woman was paying 50% market rent and when I took over i raised her to 75% market rent and told her in 6 months I was going to raise her rent again to get her to 90%.
