My name is Aidan Ahern, I'm based out of Stillwater Oklahoma as I'm a student at Oklahoma State University, and I'm looking to break into real estate investing by way of house hacking a small multi-family!

That includes many of the deals created by students of syndication classes (who typically would entice investors with juiced projected returns from creating multiple equity classes...which also generally increases risk).

I do have those who show up stating “but my cats are clean” or “it was only one eviction” which I just say no, but I’ve also had those who may be slightly off income but have a qualified co-signer, or a lower credit score but it was for a medical bill or student loan, and they worked out well.

At least in terms of rent, college students are paying 1100 - 1600 to rent by the room.

Too much risk.In this case the husband is giving the ex money like a parent supporting a student.
