The market is surprisingly high here for such a small place, but i think its because the town in growing and has a very good school system.

when investing I always look at school ratings, generally areas with good schools are lower crime, if you stick to those areas you're probably fine

I moved to Columbus from Connecticut in 2012 for school and have really enjoyed living in the city.

we are in great school district w low crime and highly desirable mid century aesthetic. 

The property is in a city/town that is appreciating quickly, is in an excellent school district, and is going through continuous development.

LTR's are tough to lease right now especially now that school has started.

HOWEVER - if you're approaching it more so from the perspective of wanting a place to settle down and possibly later on emphasizing on school districts, your evaluation criteria will be different than someone who is a pure investment play.
