And you should have an iron clad partnership agreement drafted by an attorney, that details all aspects, like how does a partner get out, what happens if a partner dies, goes bankrupt, goes to jail, gets divorced, etc.

A really nice home selling for an exorbitant amount might be fine for the homeowner who’s blinded by thoughts of raising kids there and showing off a new bbq grill.

Keeping it as a rental property could get tricky, because even if your brother and you get along, there are certain issues that will need to be ironed out in writing prior to it becoming a rental.

I have written one myself, but used his as this is my first time dealing with this and I'm sure his is more iron-clad seeing as his agency uses it. 

Ironically, I've been developing my interest in real estate because I'm having a lousy experience right now.

And wells are great until the pump or pressure tank goes bad, or the well goes dry and needs to be refracked, or all of a sudden develops a bad iron or sulfur problem.

Ironically the building burned down and the bank now has the land on the market for a price close to my offer.
