"IF" this is inspected work the building inspector probably isnt going to allow ANY window in a tub shower period. 

In my experience, the agent has been the catalyst for other vendor referrals including attorney, contractor, inspector, tenants, etc so selecting one that you feel is well experienced in this space will help you to connect more dots.

If the fire inspector says do not enter this is a case where you could change locks but check with a lawyer.

They will not have a crew of subs, will not know the local vendors, local codes, local Building Inspectors. 

Hey BP community I recently had a fire inspector come out and say I needed to have my fire escape ladder inspected by a professional on my commercial building. 

The inspector is pretty easy, whenever we have a new tenant inspection, about all he checks is smoke alarms, and water faucet back flows.  

And, yes, a home inspection will also be strongly encouraged for any deal as a good home inspector can save you plenty of problems if they discover things during the inspection!

Inspector had to use drone and from what he saw it checked out - no clear reason to pay for an additional roof inspection.

Treat any consultants (mort brokers, realtors, inspectors) like employees.You set expectations. then you manage expectations.
