I had to, embarrassingly, turn away my initial set of tenants due to the property not being move-in ready.

Maybe they are embarrassed their house is a mess.

Hi all,I just wanted to take a minute to embarrass myself with an introduction and first post on Bigger Pockets.  

Not so much the really young ones, who are all quite certain, in the quintessential American way, that they are not really poor...no, they're "temporarily embarrassed millionaires," to use John Steinbeck's phrase.

I also felt a little angry (and embarrassed) as I know that the only thing that stopped us from being in a better position today was the total lack of competent leadership, not a lack of resources or scientific know-how.Hang tight, as help is on the way to right this ship. 

So, I spend time on the internet just looking at properties "just because" and I'm embarrassed to admit how much I actually do that, haha.

HOW EMBARRASSING 

I was once told, if you aren't embarrassed of how low your offer is, its not low enough :)

It doesn't hurt to ask...Agents are often embarrassed to ask.
