The city owns this small strip of land and my plan is to petition them to give up the ROW (common practice here) and that will give me an additional 15 ft of frontage and increase the building envelope.I am going to attach a drone shot showing the aerial view.My goal is to maximize returns and not to sell myself short.

DO NOT try to remove it yourself, it is against the law for one, can extremely dangerous for second, and you could invite a wonderful EPA fine and lawsuits by the neighbors that you expose to airborne particles.

I had an inspector go out and take a look at it during construction and he found MAJOR problems ranging from possible asbestos insulation being airborne, lead-based paint cracking, cracks in the foundation and crawl space, old knob and tube wiring, moisture and mold issues, roof shingles replacement, and loads of other issues.Rather than talking about them, I made a playlist of the inspection here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?
