The process takes about the same amount of time since an appraisal and title work is generally still required before underwriting and funding the deal.

Your LLC saves you absolutely nothing on taxes, unless you will end up making a killing on this deal or have other juicy deals - and that is a big IF.

My husband is leaning toward keeping it since it is a project we would have to deal with. 

Are you referring to small multifamily deals or commercial properties with five or more units?

And your view on dealing with tenants is just like owning any other rental or living in a multifamily home.
