You gotta run their credit/background check to make sure they are creditworthy.

This all may be moot, because it looks like my HELOC that I was applying for that was going to be used for the down payments on my investments has probably been denied because of technicalities, not even my credit worthiness or anything, just some technicalities. 

My argument, banks though her creditworthy.
